So Maxim from Russia or something has gone and posted some hot pics of the chick from the Quantum of Solace, Olga Kurylenko. This is just great. I was finally getting ready to do some work, and now I have to sit and stare at these all day, studying them in every detail…..wow, that sounds kinda creepy eh?
So the Academy Awards nominations were announced today, and provided yet another exmaple of how out of touch they are. the Drak Knight Returns, the almost Billion dollar grossing Blockbuster got 1 lousy nomination, a posthumous best supporting for Ledger. Meanwhile movies like “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, “the Reader” and “Milk” clean up. Now I’m not saying that these other movies are bad, I haven’t seen them..but neither has most of America. “the Dark Kight” was not only the highest grossing movie of the year, but a well acted, directed, and scripted masterpiece. Clearly deserving of more than just one nod. Thse guys just don’t get it. A film gets penalized for being successful. With rapidly declining ratings on awards shows, you’d think they would throw the people a bone.

Add Eric Mangini to the ranks of the fallen, as the Man-Genius got the axe earlier today. I must admit, this one surprised me a little. Expectations were sky high with this team this year, but they still came close and probably finished right where they should have given their talent. I think people got way to high on this team when they knocked off Tennesee, honestly they just weren’t as good as people thought they were. When you are relying on a 40+ year old Brett Favre to save your season, there is just something wrong there. Face it, this team just didn’t have the horses. now I’m not saying Mangini is a great coach, as I think he, like his team is simply average, but he seems to be the lone fall guy for some unreasonable expectations. I wonder if the Jets will be able to pull over Scott Pioli? Now that would pour gasoline on the already burning Jets-Pats rivalry
So Black Monday came today and as expected a couple of NFL head coaches hit the chopping block; Romeo Crennel and Phil Savage, coach and GM of the Cleveland Browns respectively, and of course Rod Marinelli, of the winless Detroit Lions. All of these guys of course deserved it, but the guy who shines through this a little is Marinelli. Despite hitting depths of shittiness not seen since the 1976 Bucs, this guy kept his composure all year, and didn’t point the finger at anyone, even though there were many people to share the blame in this. Pretty classy move…no wonder the Lions axed him! The Browns should be interesting to watch. this team was so over-rated coming into this year, and appear to me to be one of those teams that can do well with a cupcke schdule, but add some tough teas in there and they are done. Word is they are after Bill Cowher, but I wouldn’t touch this franchise if I were him. There will be many other opportunities out there
An eventful day in the NFL, and a fantastic one for fellow haters of the Cowboys! In a win and you are in scenario, the Cowboys not only lost, but they completely shit the bed getting annihilated by the Eagles! Romo was simply brutal, and now has an entire offseason of crying himself to sleep on Jessica Simpson’s huge funbags (come to think of it…damn) Roy Williams and Pac Man Jones, Jerry’s two big acqusitions, were both simply awful in this game and the press box shots of Jerry plastic face grimacing were priceless! Jerry says the staff will be intact next year, but we will see
